It is the authorities who have a power to do it, not them. So, without subbmission of authorities in the first hand it is mostly senseless to hate or love big business. For obvious reasons you can't do anything serious to big business, especially if authorities in on its side.
You have to find a way to mitigate authorities first. Their orders, laws, rules, control, everything that give them power. And here, even things all that Elons Musks enterprises produce could be easily used.
Elon produces cars that could be disabled by authorities anytime? That's nice! That means you could do that too. Car electronics does not care who send command to shut down and who is inside at all. So, with Elon's cars you getting a bit of power over authorities who use that cars. And avoiding authorities power over you is just not buying Elon's car.
