Queensland to launch overseas recruitment drive for police officers amid hiring difficulties

The Queensland Police Service has approval for 500 international recruits to join the service each year for five years.

^ and this comes a day after the police commissioner stood up and says he understands that new bail laws for minors goes against human rights, but we'll push ahead with this anyway.
