i am wholly ignorant of the business side of medical practice. anyone know how much truth there is to the pic in the post?

I doubt this, however, if it is valid then people should start class action suits against the insurance companies. People should start them anyways bc the Ins was paying for it, approving it, and deeming it "medically necessary". Sue Big Insurance, and they'll turn/go after Big Pharma. All the big "isms" should tear each other apart.
