I enjoyed the book, Alien Intrusion by Gary Bates. He points out the glaring inconsistencies in the alien abduction genre. He is a Christian and his opinion is thru a Biblical lens for full disclosure. Just like how the federal government is ignoring the East Palestine disaster; the alien community ignores serious disasters in lieu of the preferred talking points like the sexual nature of abductions (succubus/incubus demonology) I think the UFO culture mirrors the mythologies of the past. Our minds have been primed to imagine similar ufo styling- flying saucers etc.
