Except for NASA, government lies had nothing to do with me thinking the earth is flat. I think Nasa fakes everything from the moonlanding to the ISS, all photos from space, even their rockets shoot off into the Bermuda triangle. Other big proofs that got me; seeing object well beyond what is mathematically possible on a sphere the size earth is alleged, the vacuum of space somehow containing earth's atmosphere which is not a theory we can replicate with experiments on earth, and airplane gyroscopes can only work over a motionless plane.
