I never really liked the dot win layout and format. Important topics and discussions fade away and disappear too fast. New threads rise to top too fast. Discussions with lots of responses become too hard to follow and read.

Perhaps it was designed to imitate Reddit?

I never created an account for reddit. Never participated in the community over there.

All that is easily fixed by leaving stickies for a day or two.
