I think an antichrist figure would have to be jewish as he would be claiming to be their messiah.
It's debatable if "antichrist" is simply a type (as in the spirit of antichrist which can be in many forms, as some jewish leaders claim the people will be their own collective messiah), or if it does include a final manifestation in an individual.
Probably Alexandra believes it's simply a type with no actual single final person, I'm lean maybe 60/40 that there's both a type and a final person.

It's possible. That's why I look at apocrypha pretty carefully, because I can't be sure of the original Bible compilers. Even my Catholic bible says that the apocrypha should be taken as a valuable source of information, not something to be cast aside.
