I know what you are probably thinking, some kind of vitamin or herb, but no. Let me first explain the problem.
The problem: The average human mouth has literally billions of bacteria floating around, with up to 500 species. Biologically the mouth is quite a filthy place. These bacteria like to form colonies, and then eat through your oral mucosa. When your brush or floss you might get some blood, that is the first indication these little fellas are there. If this is happening bacteria are leaking into your blood stream. You are effectively showering your body with bacteria. A small amount your immune system will clear up, but enough and long term you can get heart, join or other problems. This is a well known.
The solution: How do we fix this? Well other than the obvious of going to the dentist or flossing I have a secret weapon which is ozonated olive oil. What is this? It's ozone gas (which is o3) dissolved in olive oil. Ozone breaks down into oxygen or o2. It's an extremely effective antiseptic. To apply it, just coat your dental floss in the gel, then floss with it, make sure to floss below the gum-line. And well that's it. in 24 hours you'll probably notice every infection you had has cleared up. It's cheap, safe and extremely effective, and the crazy part is, although ozone is used in dentistry, almost no one does this. Because you only need a small amount 1 pot might even last you a whole year.
You can actually buy waterpiks that produce ozenated water, but they are expensive, and water piks whilst an excellent tool, don't help so much with bacteria that are below the gumline, that is where the floss with ozone gel can really help.
Where to buy? Ebay or amazon. ie https://www.ebay.com/itm/183966312372

You read my mind...oil pulling is same thing right? Also wouldnt Coconut oil be great for this. It is an anti parasitic and anti fungal and all that? I use coconut for these reasons...and also it tastes less like swishing with Exxon lol
Oil pulling is extended swishing with some kind of edible oil. Olive oil or coconut oil works. Mineral oil probably works too.
This stimulates saliva production which brings out a lot of enzymes that help break down oral bacteria and the oil helps that enriched saliva get down below the gum line.
I don't know a great deal about oil pulling. From what I understand it it's something Indians used to do. It basically kind of functions as a mouth wash. You hold some oil in the mouth and spit it out and it supposedly kills the bacteria in your mouth.
All oils are anti-bacterial. So adding extra expensive treatments to the oil does little.
Yes, but the process also helps regulate digestion, weight and hormones. Lots of good research out there on it if you dig. As you mentioned, it’s ayurvedic.
