a) MOR'TAL, adjective - "subject to death" + BURIAL, noun - "internment" aka INTERN (internal, being within) MENT (mens; mind; memory).

b) living within the process of dying implies being temporary within ongoing aka internment aka living subjected to the objectifying process of dying.

In short...the process of dying represents the ongoing burial ground for the temporary living.
