They know Trump is planning on running for presidency in 2024. What if they’re planning on blaming all of the adverse reactions and illnesses from the vax on Trump? I can see it now. If not Trump, they have another scapegoat lined up so the angry mobs don’t turn on them
The main thing is, they can't pin the vaccine mandates on Trump. That sort of thing just doesn't stick to him. Him not disowning it after data of massive side effects started coming out is his sin, and supposing he got back into power and then execute those responsible and complicit, I think that sin is great enough to give him a legitimate impeachment. But, Trump's sin is of ignorance and playing politics to not get labeled an anti-vaxxer. That is an order of magnitude less guilt than the censors, then the murder doctors, then the medical establishment, the military brass, then the complicit corporations mandating their workers get the shot, then the biden admin and the uniparty co-conspirators.
Ultimately it all comes down to media and narrative control on whether they could do such a thing. Post Elon Twitter does change the propaganda landscape tremendously, the massive growth of a parallel society on alternate tech changes the propaganda landscape tremendously. Four years ago they would be able to pin the disaster on Trump I think, today, I think things have changed enough.
