He's a far more reliable doctor than the mainstream ones.

He actually prescribes natural medicine and avoids synthetic pharmaceuticals when possible.

I tend to trust those types over drug dealers.

That's why he jokes about being a "witch dr" because he's mocked in Canada for being outside of the system.
