PAGAN (Latin paganus, countryman, from pagus, village)
HEATHEN (Greek heath, one who lives in the country or woods)
GENTILE (Latin gens, nation, race)

Entrance suggested revisionism...paganism; heathenism and gentilism...all insults used by believers against non-believers.
