The head of Russian Orthodox Church is Jesus Christ, not some bureaucrat. So, priests are free to have their own opinions on whatever social or political questions. Orthodox church is purely religious hierarchy, not social or political. Most pastors in Russian churches warned their parishioners about harms of coronahoax vaccination and was more than sceptical about coronahoax as whole. Very few stopped church services during lockdowns. This is one of the reasons why Russia have one of the lowest vaccination rate in the world. Top managers of Russian Orthodox Church often appear too servile to the state, but most priests at local levels are pretty based. Absence of Catholic-like total hierarchy with self-proclamed Pope on the top who could speak in the name of Jesus and push garbage into the faith perfectly protect Russian Orthodox Church against adding any political shit into the Orthodox faith.
So, yes, Russia will preserve Cristianity, Cristian view on the family and society and that is why it will stay white.
