memes actually turn anger into humor. They seem to help pacify our side, which is a good or bad thing depending on what you think the proper response is.
I definitely believe that can be true.
Imagine if George Washington and the continental army giggled at frog memes instead of acting upon their anger and shedding blood of red coats.
Memes quickly disseminate information. Otherwise less people would be aware of the shit that's going on.
