The only sub it was allowed to gain any traction in was /r/conspiracy. Interestingly the MSM did the same, really no surprise there either.

They managed to get niches that used to have their own websites and forums in the anglosphere.

now those are as good as gone and have their own /r/ even if you start your own website google will prefer reddit over your work and not show it on search results and here we are today.
