Just my view, but I think Jesus wanted to us to think, speak, and act morally, not spout off about Him and how bad the Jews are "in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men" during political campaigns.

When pushed far enough in an effort to remain viable as controlled opposition, even servants of Satan can do just that.
