So I agree it looks like that. I just don't think we can call that "scotch tape".
Scotch tape means a specific thing today, but they made everything from film to electrical tape.
The tape looks orange like heat tape commonly used today.
In no atmosphere, maybe all loose foil and shit doesn't need to be structural. The fishy thing is how nasa just doesn't comment on this at all.
as a general rule, adhesives are to be minimized in efficient design. source: am mechanical engineer with 10+ years experience and millions of products sold.
That has fuck all to do with anything.
The point is don't start off with claims that can easily be dismissed.
That is not 'scotch tape.'
The lunar module would never have to withstand any atmosphere. That could be why it looks so shitty.
If we want to learn more we need to make better observations and ask better questions.
you sound dumb
Is that scotch tape?
cope
No, it's called not being your own strawman.
"Scotch tape" is incorrect and meaningless. If you ask NASA about the scotch tape, they can honestly say 'that's not scotch tape.'
Don't be such an idiot that you can't see when someone is trying to make your argument stronger.
oy vey it’s not scotch tape it’s ummm hyper inter dimensional flux capacitor cooling tape!!!
I can't help you if you can't read.
