Can't you just find independent contractor work and do your own IT work with no boss?
You could even use those apps such as Taskr or Fiver and shit
You can manage someone's server, etc.
Lots of websites need webmasters
If I was really good at IT i'd go into business myself
You could just start your own company installing security camera systems and the accompanying server, backup, etc.
