Well, not really most buses get replaced.
There are few groups that maintain large fleets of old equipment for a variety of reasons. But generally buses get the upgrade for most use cases.
There is a frequent use of old buses in systems like prison systems or old military systems, but generally, the big time uses the new gear.
Because people want to sell suckers new buses. It's why 'climate change' exists. New buses, means new contracts.
