About 2 months ago We kept hearing strange sporadic annoying beeps in the house (no fire alrarm) . My wife was convinced We were under Lrad attack and told me to stop with the conspiracy bullshit online. I too became worried because We could not find the source of the beep as if it was electromagnetic harassment causing our inner ears to mess with us..
Got lucky during hurricane Ian and was home with it beeping in the day, I looked for it and found it to be a 25 yr old CO2 alarm I forgot I ever had .. it was this bullshit leftover from a contracting job from 25yrs ago.. I plugged it in and forgot about it .. 25yrs later it malfunctioned
