Seems like you are looking for some humanist answer, or at least a "other humans good but Jews are bad" answer. Scripture teaches us all have fallen short and need a savior. No civilization made by man can withstand the test of time. They succumb to inflation, moral degeneration, wars, manias and atrocities. It is what it is, though I don't embrace it.
