Now the real game begins. If so it is not optional any more if I understand correctly?
To my knowledge you are now going to require it for public schools. Not sure if homeschooling is a final work around.
It’s up to the states in the US. Some states won’t require it and some will try. Most states still allow for religious and/or personal belief exemptions. I think there are less than 10 states that do not allow for any exemptions.
