Serums with copper peptides in it do AMAZING results to the skin. Maybe even better than vitamin c in my opinion.
I am not an expert, check with Zap or u/Ghost_of_azwartz or others.. but iirc, Zinc and Copper essentially share the same transporter. So if you are taking Zinc supplements you may be deficient in copper because the Zinc would out compete the copper. And yet at the same time, Zinc and copper work synergistically. Copper is good for healing, apparently people find joint and pain relief with copper bracelets, and I think copper helps keep color in your hair.
Goats need to be supplemented with copper or aren't healthy.
I also think copper does an important role in the body because it is used in normal life for wires etc. So it maybe it conducts information.
Like Zinc and magnesium, it is probably used for a million things in your body!
But definitely face, skin, anti-aging, joint/tissue. It is expensive in the beauty industry and really works. I would choose it over vitamin c if I could only have one. You can also use it after chemical peels to speed healing.
I think I am also remembering copper being used to kill... parasites... ? In fish tanks? Something weird in them. Or maybe that was Sulfur. I have been awake for too long lol.
Genuine question. What do you think copper is used for in the body? Something with the blood?
Oh, it is very important for skin and collagen!!
