This would have been very tramausing to him and damaging to his reputation. So she might have hoped he would give her money to shut up.

Either way, she went public because she wants the money and she is broke. Fuellmich said Shae had been having money problems and took money from the committee as well, which she did not disclose.

I don't know where the money rightfully belongs but she is desperate and her motive is money.
