People that have the same pragmatic/logical view of the world but just don't know much of the specifics or what is going to happen.

In a sentence: If you assume that everyone in power is trying to find a way to legally kill or maim you, then you will begin to be able to predict their actions, which confirms that everyone in power is trying to find a way to legally kill or maim you.
