I think this is a pretty decent assessment. I would just state that I think their plan is stupid because this is not a ground troop war, this never was, what we see now, is basically Russia trying to help its brother clean up the terrorists in its yard.

When it comes to facing the actual terrorists on the other fronts, it will not be anything like this, just pure missiles.
