I'm curious about how thick flatters think the infinite flat plane is. Is it infinitely thick, so half of reality is earth, and the other half the 'firmament'?
As for beliefs of the average person, it seems like they think it's the flatters that are stupid, not the presumed flat earth itself. Refusing to show any evidence of flat earth while still making the claim is what really gets them going. Haha. Once you guys reveal you've all become billionaires with your secret knowledge of reality, they'll really be steamed.
Maybe because I've been a huge science fiction reader all my life, or now see how extensive the propaganda to the masses is, but it's an interesting concept. You're right about most flatters, but the fact that 80%+ of humans are retard-tier kind of undercuts the pronouncements of random people. I mean, most ball-earthers are retarded too.
Anyway, I'm planning to do my own investigation at some point. Have 20 miles of ocean nearby with land on the other side. I don't have a laser, but the visuals with binoculars should be sufficient to verify if the curve is real or not.
The guy with the flat earther sweatshirt and sunglasses guy seem mentally normal aside from the flat earth stuff. The beach chick is just being female. The rest of them have various degrees of mental aberration, particularly the 80 IQ guy who doesn't know how to put a hat on his head.
To play off of what the chick said near the beginning, if it's so easy to prove the earth if flat, why make a video that's so deliberately emotional manipulative and filled with ridiculous claims?
A legitimate effort to prove or at least convince people of flat earth would expand that section where they talk about the horizon and experiments people can do for themselves into the whole video. Seems aimed at the slightly below average IQ crowd.
I admit the word 'refusing' was a bit of a goad, but 'dave' does lay out the case for ball earth in a straightforward way. Flat earth proponents have nothing similar, not that they necessarily need to. (unless they wanted to spread their beliefs)
I'm convinced there's a thickness because I have a shovel, and have used it to penetrate the surface. Even had a well drilled at one point, so it's not like one of those simulated environments where the ground and objects only exist on the surface. The only question is how deep does it go beneath our feet. Is it miles, 7,917.5 miles, or infinitely thick?
"Space" as we've been programmed to believe, is scientifically impossible.
Is this related to that "vacuum versus atmosphere" thing? Does that make high and low pressure areas of our atmosphere also impossible? I'm not seeing a conflict.
I'm up to 5:45, where the beach chick sums up the previous minutes complaining about google victimizing flatters by postulating weakness in the globe model being the cause of over people talking about a stationary earth model.
So the first 5 minutes was crying victim. Now images of text from various flight testing/training organizations are being shown, with "lets start by assuming a flat non-rotating earth" sections being highlighted, as if it's some kind of admission. It would take a real 'beginner' to take this seriously so far. Zero science or credibility so far, unlike professor dave. Dave's a douche, but his arguments and references make flat heads explode.
Any glitches in a system can be exploited for profit of some kind. I assume the 'cabal' would cover most of those for their own people, such as transportation options that don't pretend the earth is round? You'd have to be really low key though, or you'd become the unwanted competition.
