On the scale of things, an EMP would certainly be life altering, but I feel confident I could survive something like that.
Something on the scale of planetary catastrophe, like something from the bible.
Well thats a whole lot scarier, especially if its true that after the catastrophe it will be 80,000+ years before the next interglacial period.
But think about the number of times this has probably happened before. Countless, im sure.
