Yes.....so is blindly not changing......despite the reasons....
Ultimately...it's not logic....you should realise that logic first requires values......otherwise you cannot have a logical argument built from any moral standing....
The problem is not logic....it's values.
which the left has NOTHING OF value, morality, logic or anything else.
It does have values....just not ones which you also carry....
I have my own values....most conservatives don't have them....most liberals don't have them.....I don't consider values a all or nothing thing....because my values are mine...and your are yours.....
The problem is when one set of values begins to impact people who hold a different set.....

You may find their values abhorrent, but that doesn't mean that they don't have them.....just they are incompatible with yours....
Your values....should be unto you.
