I evolved for the sake of sending a message. For months i went to the same grocery store bare faced- but unlike you I wasn’t an asshole about it. I’d smile and wave at the angry Karens instead of meeting their energy (and thus reinforcing their beliefs, which is at least as counterproductive as full compliance)— all it got was the occasional other guy to take his mask off too. Wasn’t enough for me.
Then I got the gas mask idea- radically complying with their own rules so hard that it makes them uncomfortable with enforcing them. Real social manipulation. I did that once, and I never had to do it again. You went in angry and affecting nothing. So yeah bud- I complied. I complied so hard they stopped enforcing compliance the same week after enforcing it for months. I won.
Edit: to add, since you want to make this a dick-swinging competition- wearing that mask caused WAY more social anxiety than going in bare faced. Being the only person in a store without a mask on was empowering (though sad)- it was never a problem for me. That mask was a chore- I got far more attention with it than ever being the only person bare faced. Forcing change takes more than mean-mugging Karen.
i went in ready to bounce someone's skull off the concrete tiled floor and shove their mask up their ass.
i got my groceries and never had to wear any mask.
i yelled at people for not wearing gloves or hazmat suits. yell at them first. you touched that handle to the freezer!!! where are your gloves you dumb bitch!!!?? You're spreading covid!!! they could call me a hypocrite but that opens pandoras box.
if i saw you with a gas mask on, id think you were just another compliant goofball.
Again, congrats on making everyone you encountered think people without masks were insane & hostile. Really winning hearts and minds with logic when the whole thing was emotions-driven. You sound autistic as fuck.
I should add, I wore my “Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself” shirt with the gas mask to offset any belief that it was for my own safety- thought of that too.
Fear does work- that’s why they were all wearing masks in the first place. You harassing them didn’t change the fear they already had- instead it justified their hatred & resentment towards those who refused to comply. It likely even got people to complain to management to enforce the mandates even harder.
You did more harm than good while patting yourself on the back for not wearing a mask. You played yourself- and made the rest of us look like assholes. Congratulations, asshole.

i made people AFRAID to be karens.
put fear in them and they learn that screaming at me to put a mask on is far more dangerous than covid
fear works
