Hobbit was utter trash. Too numerous to detail. It really stunk especially the CGI in the last film.
I actually watched the first two episodes wanting more of the story. I like the orcs, and dwarfs. The scenery was used well and so was the CGI and effects.
But they trashed a few things. She Galadriel is a witch, she cast spells. She is not a swordfighter. Her hero should be spell slinging. Not too big a problem if she learns to cast some magic as well. I could detail a few more. But that was a much bigger dislike. It was out of character. Of course she is following her brother's footsteps in this, it made that clear, but it was contrary to the lore. Rest I can watch. Elves had a few more problems, but not terrible, there was more there than lacking. Harfoots were kinda funny, made easy viewing. It kept my attention.
There was more I liked than I didn't to be fair. Normally I am the first guy to turn off woke shit. It was bad in this. But not awful. Her son with the Sauron piece, dad is like a darkelf. The Dwarf marriage, what are those kids, at least they're in helmets. But it wasn't terrible as so many others this year, and previous where they really fucked shit up, Foundation, Wheel of Time. The dialogue wasn't bad. Acting cheesy. But still it was watchable. Better than Foundation and the Wheel of Time. I'll stick with it until it gets worse.
