Moderna has been doing cancer mRNA trials for a while before Covid.

They did own the technology.

It is also in their SEC submission in 2020 and call it gene therapy. Publicly available documents.

This is why I first declared while others were sleep walking in this forum that the shot will cause cancers long term.
