Not sure if it’s the same but there is a farm out of Akron, CO that sells good heirloom seeds. You can find them on eBay.
Go straight to heirloom.

You can grow potato shoots with potatoes from a store.
Do it every year. Sweet potatoes, same way.
Take a potato, cut in half.
Four tooth picks into each half.
Place cut side in shallow water, place in cool dark place.
Once roots begin to grow, transplant in soil, roots down
