It’s never too late to learn a useful skill. Trades pay really well. Even in a collapse, people still need farmers, plumbers, electricians, welders, etc.
Once a collapse happens skilled trades will become exceptionally good bartering tools.
Same with medical trades. Especially more so.
Am a retired G.C. Have many hand tools to replace power tools.
Look at Cambodia after Pol Pot. If they can do this to a single nation, why not every single one of them?
