Nobody here said we should have mass immigration, the point being argued (and correctly) is that USA's financial collapse isn't a problem of "muh brown people" dragging the white man down into financial ruin. There has been some financial burden (and benefits) from immigration, but it is greatly offset by the influx of high IQ business creators who also flood into USA to the point of being fairly negligible. Businesses have seen massive gains in productivity over the past 30 years, the problem is the monetary / regulatory system that screws us not Pedro your neighbor, at least in financially.
Mass immigration is screwing us politically and THAT is the way it is really screwing us financially by giving more power to left wing authoritarians. But not in this direct way your camp alleges. And moreover since both parties are pretty left wing economically now it has less impact than most imagine. I still don't want to see it happen though.
