This thread is one of the main reasons I was targeted for removal and eventually banned from reddit.
They are trying to rewrite history by saying it was the "conspiracy theorists" who initially panicked over COVID.
1800 upvotes at 92% completely dispels this myth.
The accounts "freaking out" about COVID in December/January of 2019/2020 were NOT organic and those who were paying attention DEFINITELY noticed.
The overwhelmingly positive reception of this thread is proof the genuine conspiracy researchers weren't fooled by COVID, as early as January 2020.
Wasn't fooled when I heard of the first case in November 2019 and the circumstances behind it.
Told family and friends not to fall for the psyop.
Ahh, those where the days. I was the only maskless at the grocery store for a few months. Lol
We as well. The glares we got. Watching people drop their heads, or avert eye contact as we passed the masked, maskless and with smiles.

Not really the same scale, but there was always a "hot topic" that would get one banned from Reddit - originally "9/11". A few others along the way:
Sandy Hook, Las Vegas, et al "mass shootings" by a "lone gunman"
#pzzagate - specifically James Alefantis Rothschild
It's such a mind fuck that getting banned from /r/conspiracy is how I know (basically) the shit is real.
LOL WTF ?!
we gots your back.
Gotta say I was fooled, probably by posts like the ones you're describing. But I wasn't a big conspiracy guy at the time. I am now
