This reads like narrative building for the Conspiracy crowd a la Sunstein in his Conspiracy Theories: Their Causes and Cure.

The casual mention of CP charges, the fact that he’s 33, the misdirection into telling us that it’s only compromised smartphones instead of all of em.

Feels like it could be Sunsteins ‘cognitive steering’
