He knows they're going to pay for the reconstruction of everything that gets destroyed in southern and eastern Ukraine when it all becomes part of the Russian Federation. I saw that they've actually already started rebuilding in Mariupol.
Oh, and if it ever comes to hitting NATO countries that they don't care about rebuilding or even having good relations with, they're going to drop the hammer.
when russia attacked crimea then annexed it, they rebuilt everything and people are MUCH HAPPIER under russian rule than under ukraine. same thing will happen in the eastern regions of ukraine
Yeah, I saw about a 20 minute video showing various locations in Crimea from before and then a year after Russia took over, and the redevelopment in just that short span was mind-boggling. I knew then that the Crimeans would never, ever willingly go back to Ukraine.
Actually, while I was watching it I thought, "Maybe they could annex America next."
