Well, if only population size of a country meant anything, and by what metric, China, should it?
G7 is the group of major, highly developed industrial nations, which, although I love Brazil, it's not. It's almost 3rd world. China, for all it's (untrustworthy) economic statistics, is still not a developed county akin to say, England.

Resources, yes sure. Hell, they kicked Russia out, it was the G8 at one time, and they are wealthier in terms of resources than most of the planet. But Brazil isn't France, ya know? At least not yet anyway. Maybe in the future, France will fail and Brazil will ascend.

Put on your glasses. I never said they were "great". You're debating what you want to debate, rather than what I said. They have like 40% of the world's economy, and that means something.
