In short. The debt free life is the best life to live. Mortgage, loan free for 20 years now.

Being so give me latitude and room to live my life as I see fit.

Still a debt slave, but less exposed to debt than the average citi,en.

How did we do it?

Made a distinct choice to minimalize. We live within our means. Place needs above wants.

We have a monthly surplus of FRN's. We take the the surplus and transfer it to assets of real value. More laying hens, more land...not houses. More out buildings.

Not broke and loving it. Woosah!
