You can get it at home depot I believe. If its not in stock you can ship-to-store and pick it up. Get the big thing of it, and you'll have enough detergent for years
I mix this at a 3:1:1 ratio with oxy-clean, borax, to stretch it out. Get the unscented oxy-clean and your clothes will never smell and you don't have to even think about stains. If you want to get even more clever, you can get Tri-Sodium Phosphate from Home depot (paint section), and do 12:4:4:1 ratio (tiny amt of TSP) and it will get rid of any oils / oily things
Don't overuse TSP--its just a waste and could cause algal blooms where the greywater goes. This is why they removed phosphate from the consumer enviornment in the first place. That being said, if you use your greywater for plants, TSP is going to actually become fertilizer for them
TSP is in food, so even though it sounds like a dangerous chemical, it's not.
(you can also add half a tsp of TSP to your dishwasher load and it will clean MUCH better)
Neither is borax. It's a natural salt. You're not eating any of this stuff anyway, I just want to stress upon you that they aren't dangerous things. The most dangerous of the lot may be the oxyclean...i have no idea what that is but prob something that turns into peroxide is my guess
GET AWAY FROM ALL PERFUMED THINGS AND DYES...they are not only horrible smelling, they can provoke headaches and other allergic / immune reactions in people.
I had my parents do a load of clothes when I went down to visit them for a week, and I've had to wash some of my articles 5 times FIVE to get their stupid TIDE STINK out of my clothing
My clothing has no smell...actually it smells of the material its made from (cotton and linen have a distinct smell, nylon and polyester don't)
Get away from all popular detergents and laundering materials.
THIS is the only thing to buy. No dyes, no perfumes
