I call this the “James Bond Theory,” after sll the Bond movies where the villain reveals their secret plan. I don’t buy it.

Does seeing Lisa Simpson holding up a 9/11 image mean that I consent to a bunch of people dying in a burning tower? I don’t see how it could.

I think they put things in the collective consciousness to start creating it on the astral plane before they try to create it in the physical world.
