They are still new arrivals in Europe for the most part so sending them back is really sending them home.
In the Americas people of many different races have been part of these civilizations from the beginning. From Panama, to Uruguay, Louisiana and Texas it's never been all one race in these places, nor will it ever be. That doesn't mean any of these countries wants to be flooded with new immigrants, the point is that the "send this race back" argument here is ridiculous.

I just looked up Ethiopia, and they' seem to be advancing largely on their own.

That isn't ever going to happen, this is the new world. Might work in Europe though sure. But the Americas are mixed race, and will continue to be so.
