Many drugs can be made out of common foods, and nutrients, which are too refined to be called foods or diet. in the case of Hydroxychloroquine, it is a lab stabilized version of Quinine from Cinchona bark. Does one often include bark in their diet? I highly doubt this. Yet to fight a basic parasite, one must do exactly that. Just as many man created illnesses are outside the scope and capacity of basic nutrition to solve.
Or with "sodium ascorbate", which is a cancer remedy that results from combining Vitamin C and and baking Soda in water. You can find these ingredients in Cherry Pie.
Ivermectin like penecilin results from bacteria, which can be used to ferment foods.
Wines, beers, poppy seeds, mushrooms, Marijuana, can also be considered foods as well as Valerian root, and ginger root. Where does one draw the line between foods and drugs? Are you to decide this for us, to judge what is, and is not a sin to consume?
I am going to have to disagree with your statement, and am uncertain what doctrine you are following that states, that it is a sin to consume drugs.
Thank you for your reply.
