China is smarter than this. To unify, they will subvert from within and make the Taiwanese believe it is in their best interest... possibly create/cause a humanitarian crisis there and then rush in as savior.

Economic, political, or simply starving an Island out. Forcing it into submission.

Although there is an urgency today. Because conflict brews, economics tumble, supply lines reshuffle, when it does, nothing is impossible.
