is feeling the phone in your hand "thinking"?

yes, but fine - I get your point.

So you are equating work to simply "net expensed energy"?

Seems to be missing a lot of nuance, in my opinion.

And more to the point: what's your point?

Are you saying that Elon doesn't deserve the success he has - basically - because he pays other people to do the heavy lifting?

Do you think Elon should have done it all by himself?

Or maybe, at least it would more "fair" if he shared most of his wealth with his employees?

Like, the person who carries the trash (from one pile to another pile) should get paid more (like a LOT more - like 1000x more) than the engineer who doesn't work at all - just sits there and designs the rockets.

Thoughts?

He is also stealing from you and me.

Stealing?

Is it Elon's fault that your government is giving-away your money?

Elon filled-out some paper-work, and your government cut a check. Elon stole nothing that your government hadn't already stolen from you.

I would suggest your grievances are with your government - not with Elon, who has simply managed to prove himself a good manager of capital: electrifying the auto industry and putting humans at the door-step of mars.

If you are going to continue allowing your government to steal money from you in the first place, you should at least hope they give the money to someone like Elon - instead of Bill Gates (who has just managed to cause a bunch of pandemics with his "grants"), or bailing-out the banksters (for the xth time).

Yes.. yes its his fault too.

Probably more our fault for letting the government take our money in the first place.

shitty useless cars

hahahah

fastest (0 - 60 in 2 seconds) , safest cars on the market.

for what it's worth, i would take you more seriously if you didn't use so much hyperbole.

The current infrastructure can not support electric cars.

simple market mechanisms ( supply / demand ) will resolve.

Charge time makes reuse or extended use compromised.

meh - great for around the town.

Consumer Reports has annually stated design quality is inferior, substandard.

I honestly have no idea what that means - inferior to what?

No one needs to go 0 to 60 in 2.3 seconds unless you are on a race track.

1.1 seconds:

Who said anything about need? It's called fun.

Constant high acceleration shortens life of car and requires more costly repairs.

So don't do "ludicrous" mode all the time. Problem solved.

Resources consumed exceeds the defined metric of success of conversion.

the same could be said about private jets, and yet they are more popular than ever. What's your point? Are you some kind of environmentalist?

Life of vehicle shorter and less reliable and less user repairable.

Very true.

Far more dangerous in a collision.

Debatable.

Shd ayh go on?

I'm not convinced, so perhaps you should...
