Statista is citing 128 mass shootings over 40 years. Catturd is citing 227 mass murders in 2021 alone. Clearly they are using different definitions for mass shooting/murder.

I suspect one is cherry picking school shootings where the attacker may or may not have known the victims. The other is going by the more recent and popular definition of four people shot, period. The gun grabbers like that broader definition because it makes mass shootings appear super common. The race baiters don’t like the broader definition because most of the mass-shoots come from gang violence in the inner cities. So move the goal posts back and forth to win both arguments.

1. Wow, there are so many mass shootings, we should do something about guns.
2. White supremacy is a problem! Look how many mass shooters at schools where the attacker was not a student were committed by white people!

Practice this flexibility and you too can argue like a liberal!
