the true origin of modern Pigs.
Just some interesting notes about pigs and humans.
-The pig genome is very close to humans https://aces.illinois.edu/news/human-pig-genome-comparison-complete
-some scientist even think pigs should be reclassified as a type of primate. https://phys.org/news/2015-09-hidden-evolutionary-relationship-pigs-primates.html
-pigs and humans have many biological similarities (hairless + subcutaneous fat and fat distribution as a whole.)

-pigs are very smart and social animals. https://sentientmedia.org/pig-intelligence/
-pigs are one of the oldest domesticated animals
-one geneticist noticed the similarities and even went as far to theorizes that all humans might have evolved from an ancient chimp crossbreeding event with ancient wild boar https://phys.org/news/2013-07-chimp-pig-hybrid-humans.html
TLDR My theory is that 10 000 years ago ancient middle east farmers breed with ancient wild pig and created the modern line of Sus, which was our modern pigs ancestor. they then realized what they did and wrote it into their bible not to eat pork, but never wrote why because they were ashamed. This is probably why people from that area don't eat ham.
Animal Farm. Those fucking pigs. I love bacon and sausage.
