Yes there is the unexplained and there is mind over matter. There is Eastern healing, using different medicine techniques, and there used to be entire schools dedicated mediation and even darker arts. But there is a hell of a lot more bullshit. I hope so. Wasn't he kicked out of it for exposing his magic to the World. It goes back to dark arts, despite of any healing ability. But those belief systems have largely changed. More is superstition. Not everybody can train. In fact that is a cult and sect of far older beliefs, and they largely don't exist in the same way they did. If they do, you wont find them. Because it's blasphemy to the largely different religious populations. Buddhism is also different to what was practiced. Didn't they have skin changers as some of their most popular folklore changing into birds and leopards. Also huge on the spirits, good and evil. Prior to Krakatoa human sacrifice and cannibalism existed all over Indonesia.
