I have experienced this effect. Good to know there's a name for it

Dang, you're getting the story pretty wrong...
I watched a video by Better Bachelor on YouTube when he disappeared. So they released him?

That guy is accurate, as far as he goes. CRP latched onto the Internet Blood Sports phenomenon, and was one of the 4 who went to Knoxville for the IRL fight that never happened. (still waiting on that footage, coach) Fast forward to 2022, he reappeared after a week on some youtubers channel, saying he had been picked up by the SBU, his devices confiscated, and him interrogated. Lucky for him it wasn't AZOV, since they wanted to torture and murder him.
He wasn't a Russian separatist, and never claimed to be. He had moved to Ukraine years ago, married, and just did his videos and other bullshit from there. When the war started, he was in a hotel in Kiev where he did an infamous livestream on the whole context of the 2014 US coup in Ukraine to put the nazis in power, their murders of ethnic Russians, and etc. His main troubles began when clips of that stream were featured on RT, AND tweeted out by Ramzan Kadyrov, the infamous head of the Chechen Republic.
Anyway, I've heard that he may have started a new account (no access to all his old ones) on twitter or youtube, but haven't heard anything further. Given that recent call a week or so ago to round up and capture all (somewhere around 400?) "subversives and traitors" in Ukraine and punish them, he hopefully wised up and got the fuck out with his life.
